- Locate the technology record related to the patent
- Click on IP on the navigation bar in the technology page
- Click add to relate the technology to an existing patent or to create a new record
- Complete all fields with red text
- If an annuity service provider is used to handle annuity payments and there is a need to have the data exported out to the third party, click on “Yes, Export to CPI”
- All patents should be related to one primary technology and any number of secondary technologies. More than one primary relationship will result in data being multiplied.
